Dates

RoyalHacks takes place April 18–19, 2026 at the IT University of Copenhagen. Hacking begins Saturday April 18 at 12:00 and ends Sunday April 19 at 12:00. All submissions must be in by 12:00 on Sunday.

Eligibility

RoyalHacks is open to all currently enrolled university students in Denmark (or other higher-level educational degrees). Participation is free. You must be able to attend in person at ITU, Copenhagen. Participants must be 18 or older.

Project and Submission Requirements

• Projects must be started at RoyalHacks. Pre-existing projects are not eligible.
• Teams may have 1–4 members.
• You may enter multiple tracks with the same project.
• All submitted work must be your own. Use of AI tools and open-source libraries is allowed and encouraged.
• Projects must comply with our Code of Conduct: royalhacks.io/code-of-conduct
• RoyalHacks reserves the right to disqualify submissions that violate these rules or our Code of Conduct.
